Wenlock Spring supported the Zest Quest Asia 2026 gala dinner, celebrating talented student chefs and the lecturers, mentors and industry partners helping the next generation thrive.

A platform for emerging culinary talent

Hospitality has a strong future when young people are given the opportunity to learn, compete and build confidence. Zest Quest Asia provides exactly that kind of platform, bringing student chefs together to develop their skills and explore Asian cuisine.

Wenlock Spring was proud to support the 2026 gala dinner, where this year's finalists and the people who guide them were celebrated. The event was founded by Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala and has become an important fixture for colleges and young chefs across the UK.

Congratulations to The Sheffield College

The Sheffield College was crowned the 2026 champion. Congratulations to students Destiny Breeze, Amos Peck and Luke Swift, together with their lecturer and mentor Andy Gabbitas, on a fantastic achievement.

Reaching the final demanded preparation, creativity and teamwork. The gala dinner gave every finalist the chance to share that work with respected figures from hospitality while experiencing the standards and pace of a major industry event.

Competitions like Zest Quest Asia help bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional hospitality. They ask students to apply technique, organisation and imagination under pressure, while lecturers and industry partners provide the support that helps talent grow.

Supporting hospitality beyond the table

For Wenlock Spring, supporting Zest Quest Asia is about more than supplying water for one evening. It reflects our belief in strong relationships across hospitality and in helping the next generation find its place in the sector.
